Roof Depot Pro-steel roof framing system utilizes 1.5mm Cee and 1.2mm Zee Galvanized steel purlins for its structural roof frame. This system is pre-engineered using 1.5mm Galvanized connections and fastening systems. The Framing details are customized as per the customer designs. The steel purlins are interconnected with a series of 1.5mm galvanized plates, steel brackets and sleeve connectors, which are then, fasten together with nuts, bolts, and screws. The entire frame is anchored securely to the ring beam which is tied into the foundation of the building using a 10 Gauge Galvanize Anchor fasten with 4″ x ½” Anchor Bolt.
Structural Steel Frame refers to the construction of the roof using I Beams, plated, welded, prime-painted and connected to form the “Skeleton Frame”. Steel cleats are welded to the rafters to receive Z or C purlins which are fasten by using Bolts, Washers and Nuts.
The Frame is built according to structural specifications and the type, size, weight and girth of the steel components are based on the load, span, the size of the structure and the weight of selected roofing materials. The entire frame is anchored securely to the ring beam using the protruding rebar which is all tied into the ring beam and to the foundation of the building.
STRUCTURAL PURLINS – Z, C and U PURLINS
Our Zee/Cee Sections are accurately roll-formed from high strength Zinc coated steel to provide an efficient, lightweight, economical roofing and cladding support system for framed structures. The base metal conforms to ASTM A 924 M-01; & ASTM A 653 M-01 where a coating of Zinc alloy is bonded to steel which coats and protects the metal from corrosion.
We offer a variety of steel purlins such as Z, C & U profiles in 4”, 6”, 7” and 8” sizes and they are available in 1.2mm and 1.5mm gauges that are custom cut to any transportable length. Upon request we can provide custom sizes and provide them punched and un-punched. Our Z purlins are designed to Interlock and lap easily.

Our standing seam profile is a clean cut panel that allows that elegance to accentuate your entire roof design. This profile provides an absolute appeal and is a delightful finish to your Home or Building. In addition, The Standing Seam profile is an excellent and effective structural panel that surpasses all other roofing panels for its strength, durability and will simply last forever.
This panel is ideal for residential, commercial & industrial applications; it’s simple and easy to install on any type of frame from low to a steep pitch and also offers an excellent fire and wind resistance up to 150mph. The Standing Seam panels can be rollformed on site to any desirable custom length to exact measurements; therefore the panel is continuous with no joinery. These panels are fastened to the purlins or structure by concealed metal clips and fasteners.
This profile provides for a secure interlocking and fastening system along the full length of the sheet. Therefore, the panel is not perforated or compromised in any way ensuring a more watertight roofing system.
The standing seam profile is available in 24ga & 26ga high strength steel, which is produced using the highest quality grade of raw materials available on the world market. This profile is also available in a wide variety of colours and is offered in Polyester or PVF or Kynar 500 paint finishes.

The preferred choice of many architects, builders and home owners, is seamless Aluminum Guttering; which is lightweight, attractive, durable, corrosion resistance and has a long leak free life. We offer a .32mm gauge 6” Aluminum Seamless Gutter which can be roll-formed on site to exact measurements, therefore the gutter is continuous with no joinery. The Aluminium gutter is installed with a strong hidden bridging system within the gutter; thus, leaving no unsightly brackets to the outside of the Gutter. Our 6” Aluminum Gutters are suitable for all residential, commercial or apartment buildings and are available in white, charcoal grey and metallic copper. It carries a 10 year manufacturer’s warranty and can complement any type of roofing profile. We also provide all the complimentary accessories and components for the guttering system.
Roof Depot Ltd offers several eave and under-ceiling options. The Inverted Standing Seam Panel is a modern fabricated structural panel that interlocks and snaps securely. It can be manufactured with smooth or textured finish (Striations). This structural panel is very popular amongst home owners and architects.
We also offer a perforated option which allows for a stand alone ventilated snaplock under-ceiling system. The U panel has a smooth clean finish and can be custom ordered in varying Girths and Colours. This system eliminates visible fixings to provide a seamless uninterrupted soffit line.
Our U-profile is a solid steel panel that beautifies the overhang of any home and delivers outstanding performance, quality and durability. This system also offers a non-powered perforator option for a stand alone ventilated under-ceiling system.
Roof Depot Ltd can custom design and build as per our client’s specifications. We have the facility, the machinery and the capability to satisfy any product requirements for custom metal ceilings and flashings.
Roof Depot supplies quality EPDM membrane which is 100% cured single-ply roofing membrane made of a Ethylene-Proylene-Diene-Terpolymer.
Depending on the nature of the job, the screed/concrete is prepared or cleaned to receive the asphalt based primer-followed by the membrane rolls which are torched applied. The heat bonds the membrane to the concrete providing a protective layer between the elements and the concrete and thus preventing water penetration or seepage.
The membrane also has a granule ceramic overcoat giving the membrane added protection against the heat and UV rays. It can be applied in single, double or triple layer depending on the customer requirements.
Our Trapezoidal Metal Decking Pan offers a 16 – 22 gauge zinc coated structurally efficient profile. Our decking provides an excellent composite union between steel and concrete to maximize load carrying and spanning.
Our system interlocks adding to efficiency and ease of installation. In addition to eliminating costs associated with the need for sealing the flooring below.
